Gathering data about traffic used to be a laborious task. However, according to Otonomo’s Executive VP of Corporate Development and Strategy Doron Simon, his company’s platform will make counting cars a thing of the past.
Instead, city planners can have real-time data about road usage and accident rates sent directly to their desktops enabling better road planning and utilisation. Similarly, individual drivers can be rewarded for conscientious driving by their insurers.
Simon told Auto Futures all about Otonomo’s platform and how it might, quite literally, change the roads we drive on.
