Autonomous vehicles will have a bigger impact on the future of mobility than the transformation to electric vehicles. That’s according to Johann Jungwirth, the Vice President MaaS at Mobileye, which is testing AVs in locations around the world.
Jungwirth was one of the key speakers at SHIFTx in Berlin. He’s been talking to Auto Futures about gaining the public’s confidence in driverless transport.
The Intel-owned company has also just announced a collaboration with SIXT to begin offering autonomous ride-hailing services in Munich in 2022. The announcement was made at IAA Mobility in Munich.
