U.S.-based Bollinger Motors has unveiled its patent-pending E-Chassis, designed with commercial applications in mind.
Features of the E-Chassis include a 120 kWh battery pack, an all-wheel drive; 5000-lb. payload and an ultra-low centre of gravity.
The E-Chassis will be manufactured alongside Bollinger Motors’ B1 and B2 trucks and will be made available for commercial use in 2021.
Robert Bollinger, CEO Bollinger Motors, says: “When we first built our Class 3 B1, we knew there was a commercial aspect to the platform. Not only cab-on-chassis, but entirely new truck bodies can fit on our E-Chassis, and help propel the world to all-electric that much faster.”
Founded in 2015 by Robert Bollinger, Bollinger Motors is headquartered outside of Detroit in Ferndale, Michigan.
