- Karma’s South American Retail Presence to Support Company’s Global Expansion Plans
IRVINE, Calif. (Oct. 16, 2019) – Southern California-based automaker and high-tech incubator Karma Automotive today announced the newest addition to its growing international retail network, Karma Ecuador.
Karma Ecuador, owned by luxury automotive group Rosati Motors, is Karma’s second South American retail partner, following the addition of Santiago, Chile earlier this year. The addition of a second South American retailer will further the company’s international expansion plans, taking the automaker to five continents by 2020, before bringing the brand to China in 2021.
“Rosati Motors is a leader in the Ecuadorian automotive market, with expertise in regionally positioning iconic and exclusive luxury brands,” says Joost de Vries, Karma Vice President of Global Sales and Customer Experience. “Their VIP treatment and traceable heritage are excellent compliments to Karma’s exclusive customer offerings and iconic automotive designs.”
Karma Ecuador will be located in Quito, the country’s capital and largest city, recognized for its rich architecture and history. “We are proud to welcome Karma to our Rosati Motors family,” says Jaime Ballesteros, CEO and Founder, Rosati Motors. “We look forward to offering Karma’s luxury electric vehicles with the highest standards of quality and service our customers expect.”
Karma owners are invited to participate in Karma’s VIP California Experience Tour, entailing a three-day curated program with oceanfront accommodations at a Southern California luxury resort and a guided tour of Karma’s Innovation and Customization Center. The experience furthers the luxury automaker’s philosophy that Karma ownership should be memorable and special, connecting owners with the pioneering technology and craftsmanship behind their vehicles.
Karma Ecuador will offer a strictly limited number of examples of the automaker’s luxury electric 2019 Revero, in line with the company’s expansion throughout the South American market and beyond.
