As the Geneva International Motor Show opens is doors to the world’s media, the world’s first pure electric luxury hypercar has been unveiled. The Pininfarina Battista can reach 100 km/h in less than two seconds but is capable of 450 kms in one charge. That makes it faster than a Formula One car but with zero emmissions.

Automobili Pininfarina’s CEO Michael Perschke says: “The Battista is the hypercar of the future, inspired by a legendary past. It combines true inpiration and innovation in its technical appearance and emotional appeal.”

The company says no more than 150 Battistas will be handcrafted at its facility in Turin, Italy.
