UK firm Connected Kerb has deployed its first unique public electric vehicle charging point on a kerbside in South London’s Borough Road. This is the first step in the company’s strategic roll out across the entire city.
The charging points are neatly embedded into the kerbside, allow customers to charge their vehicles, access internet connectivity and see weather and traffic information.
Connected Kerb is working with Southwark Council, Virgin Media and National Grid. Take a look at Virgin Media’s latest charging solution which involves using existing cable ducts and broadband street cabinets.
